National Day of Brazil 2026 — Reception in Bucharest

The South Chamber of Commerce co-organised the National Day of Brazil reception with the Embassy of Brazil in Bucharest, bringing together diplomats, Romanian officials and the business community.

On 16 September 2026 the Embassy of Brazil in Bucharest celebrated its National Day with a reception organised together with the South Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Morten Reimers, designated Honorary Consul of Brazil, took part in the organisation and welcomed ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, Romanian public institutions and business leaders. The evening celebrated Brazilian culture — live music, capoeira and Brazilian hospitality — and reaffirmed the growing partnership between Brazil and Romania. For the Chamber's Brazil chapter it marked a further step in its close cooperation with the Embassy, ahead of the Brazil–Romania Agriculture & Investment Forum on 19 October 2026.
