Connecting Romania with India and Southeast Asia
The founding mission of the Chamber: building durable commercial bridges between Romania, the European Union, India and Southeast Asia.
The Chamber was founded to create a permanent institutional bridge between Romania, the European Union and the fast-growing economies of India and Southeast Asia.
Its founding mission was practical: give companies on both sides a credible, neutral point of contact for market entry, partner identification, delegations and institutional dialogue. Romania's position on the eastern edge of the single market, its industrial base and its Black Sea access made it a natural platform for that work.
This mission remains a foundational pillar of the International South Chamber of Commerce today.
