EU–Vietnam trade and the Southeast Asian corridor

The EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement has progressively removed tariffs across most goods lines, making Vietnam one of the most accessible Southeast Asian markets for European exporters and a competitive manufacturing base for European buyers. Romanian opportunities concentrate in agri-food, machinery, chemicals and IT services, alongside inbound investment into Romanian logistics and light manufacturing.
